It’s no secret that one of the biggest disappointments of the NFL season came from those of us who put our faith in a man named Tim Tebow. If you don’t believe me you need only pull up any of the recent Bronco games as he misses a catch or has yet another pass intercepted. Those of us who get our sports channels from places like http://www.cannonsatellite.com/ were absolutely horrified by what we were seeing; some of us couldn’t believe our eyes.

Now I know quite a few of you might disagree with what I’m saying so let’s get one thing straight – Tebow is a great guy. Love to have a beer with the man and gab about life but when it comes to football they ought to have slapped a sticker on the man’s back that read “does not perform as advertised.” Sure the kid showed promise but how many catches and passes do you have to botch before someone wakes up to their investment?

To the man’s credit, he has shown tremendous promise in more recent games and frankly I wish him nothing but the best in the coming years. As a Broncos fan, the last thing I want to see is my favorite team obliterated. Let’s just hope Tebow’s recent efforts aren’t too little too late.

There was a time when Terrell Owens was considered one of the biggest receiving threats in the NFL. However, like anybody else, his age has started to show, and while he can still be a threatening receiver, he is no longer at the top of the elite. Terrell Owens and Chad Ochocinco were expected to be quite a dynamic duo last season for the Cincinnati Bengals, but they failed to live up to expectations. Now that Owens is a free agent, can he find a team to play for this season?
Terrell Owens is known for his arrogance regarding his high level of play. He has blown his chances with the Eagles, Cowboys, Bills, and now the Bengals. His big mouth results in him insulting his team as a whole oftentimes, which leads to teams releasing him at the end of his contract. However, there are some teams that may consider adding him to their receiving corps despite his overconfidence and age due to their urgent need for a go to receiver. Teams such as the Raiders, Vikings, 49ers, and Dolphins all may have interest in adding someone like Owens to their offense. If he is signed to a contract soon though, he hopefully will not make the same mistakes he has made with his previous franchises.

Could Prince Fielder, widely known across Major League Baseball as the centerpiece to the Brewer’s offense, end up leaving Milwaukee after this season is over? Upon examination of Prince Fielder’s ending contract, and his overall skill set, it may be hard to imagine him staying in Milwaukee due to the financial constraints he would cause if he were resigned to a big contract. Let’s face it, Milwaukee is not known the most financially fit team in baseball, they managed to lock up Ryan Braun long term because he seemed willing to take a franchise discount. But, will Prince Fielder be willing to do the same?
Fielder is going to be the best first baseman in free agency this offseason with the exception of Albert Pujols. The teams that are expected to be aggressive in signing him are the Giants, Dodgers, Mariners, Rays, Angels, Cubs, Nationals, and of course the Brewers. These teams all want that go to guy that can provide high powered offense and set them up to win games. The Cubs and Nationals both have a good deal of money freed up due to their young players featuring early contracts throughout their clubs. While it is fun to speculate though, only time will tell where Prince Fielder really goes this offseason.

In the NBA today, there is no other position that requires the skill that a point guard needs. I have been watching the NBA point guards evolve from the likes of Allen Iverson and Stephon Marbury to the Deron Williams and Chris Pauls of the league. They have grown from the And 1 phase to a more “power” poing guard position. Point guards like Steve Nash and Rajon Rondo are known for their passing abilities and craftiness while point guards like Deron Williams are known for their power. Though point guards these days all have different skill sets, who is the best point guard?

When it comes to the best point guards, there are two that come to mind. Derrick Rose and Chris Paul.Derrick Rose is the ultimate point guard in my mind and I see him becoming one of the best point guards of all time. Chris Paul on the other hand is a leader and definitely one of the best floor generals in the league. Until one of them finally prove to take their teams above championship hump, the best point guard in the league just might be Rajon Rondo, what do you think? Does a point guard need to win a ring to be the best?

Many people wonder after everything that has went down will Lebron James get to retire a Cavalier when his playing days are done. The majority of people might think no, but the reality of it is most likely he will. Lebron James did not leave the City of Cleveland or team on good terms, but in reality, he did a lot for the franchise. James owns many scoring records, has done a lot for the Cleveland community, and still does to this day.Confused? Here ‘s a little help . Like it or hate him Lebron James still is loved by many in the Cleveland and Akron area.

Lebron James maybe in Miami right now playing for the Heat, but you cannot downplay his accomplishments. He help take a franchise that struggled to win games all the way to the NBA Finals. One day Lebron James and his mistakes will be forgiven and he will retire a Cleveland Cavalier. No matter what anyone says, Lebron James wants to end back in Cleveland and retire a Cavalier even if he does not admit it openly.

James has realized he left on unfavorable terms, but he will slowly rebuild the bond he had with Cleveland and the Cavaliers. It will take some time, but eventually we will see Lebron James retire a Cleveland Cavalier.
